What's the most quiet exhaust ?

Need some advice. Want to further 'open up' the performance of my car, but really hate loud exhausts. I actually love my car's sound. As far as I know my exhaust is dead stock.

Anybody got any recommendation as to what to do with this dilemma ?

Thanks !

I will say RUF. At some low rpm, it even quieter than stock.

I guess those are more $$.

I have Fabspeed quiet and seems to be a good match with Tip and Cab. However, when WOT, there is nothing quiet about them. People commented my car sounds "mean" when wot.

I think Ruf is the most quiet, but it also hinders power. Europipe is next in line, but doesn't hinder power the same way the Ruf does.

I have a Europipe, and it is nice and quiet. It drones a VERY small amount around 2500 rpm's, but so does the stock exhaust. I'm extremely happy with how the EP sounds, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet exhaust.

I just gutted the precats and main cats on the stocker to run with my K24/18g package I bought from EPL.

It still sounds stock.

I haven't dyno-ed yet to compare the gutted stock set-up to AWE test pipes but I'd like to just to see.

Sounds great. And, the best part was the total cost - $0.

If you want to increase performance w/o compromising sound you can have a competent shop do pretty much exactly what RUF does with their exhaust. Remove the internal baffling and run quality 100 cell cats.
