retrofit heated seats?

just curious how hard it is to retrofit heated seats since my car did not come with them. I know I need to purchase a set of used seats that have heat modules, but how hard is the wiring? anyone do this retrofit before? thanks in advance.

side note- if anyone has any black sport seats with heat for sale, I'd be interested.

You dont actually have to swap seats anymore. Any good car upholstery shop can add heating elements for you. They have these cf pads with eleements sewn in, are added to the seat with a control they can mount anywhere you like.

YOu can buy heating modules online (ebay) for under $200 that you can cut to fit. They may not get super hot through the seats but you can pull the back part of the seat off without any tools and I assume the bottom is pretty simple. On other cars, you just need to unzip a zipper or a press fit to get to the guts of the seat. As far as wiring to the factory switches, that may be difficult, but you can add the switches from the system into the batwing if you like.
