Heck of a deal for $37K

Just passing this along, no affiliation. Looks like the deal of the year if it checks out.

Ah dude you gotta give us the "inside scoop" on this car since you've done the PPI already. My hunch is the car was beat on quite a bit, and guessing that the suspension components are worn for its age/mileage, and motor/turbo are probably not in peak form either?

Car sold on Ebay last week for $45K and then he relisted it again in this auction. Guy mentions paint work done very well but to what extent? Half the car probably...

I guess I'm a little confused here...

If the car checks out as mechanically sound, and the interior has no obvious flaws, who cares if the car has had a respray and imperfections repaired? If the car wasn't in an accident, but was victim to some soccer moms in minivans with their wide asses and poor ability to control their doors, why would that make someone walk away, especially with the current crop of paint/dent/repair methods out there?

Track one of these cars and get it sand blasted by all the grit thrown up from sticky tires and you'll HAVE to get it re-sprayed, if you expect it to "look" immaculate.

Mike

if youre referring to the "dual" tips, i think that was a separate option, IIRC.

Facts are facts. No 'bad mouthing' involved. But thanks for your comments so far.

I think it is instructive to 'civilians' to understand how much 'information control' is exerted by the car dealership industry. Not overtly, but a general concept that 'buyers can find it out on their own, but we don't offer it'.

I assume anyone seriously considering this car will take it off line....

A

PS Yes, dual tips are a separate option..."X54" is the code
