Just did mine. I used the washer precision gave me and then one of the 14 ga ones (the thicker 2mm).

I have full clearance now. Good luck.

Mish Mish, good luck on getting the OE part unless you find a totaled vehicle with the wing somewhere.
There's a whole thread in the knowledge base sub-section on this. You seem to be a handy guy, maybe you can make the modify another bolt for this.

The hex bolt thread is a M22x1.5 with a 14mm allen key head. You need this exact size opening to insert the ram connection in to lock. The picture does not show a small rod recessed inside this bolt which allows the spoiler ram to hook onto and rotate to tighten.
If you need more pictures let me know, I will be taking mine apart pretty soon to work on it.
Heck, we should just swap ; my seal grey for your seal grey

Georound is infamous around these parts
Mish, I just sent you a PM. I want to remove a set. Any tricks to removing? Heat? Standard threads - meaning counter clockwise to loosen? I put some torque on one and it didnt budge.
Thanks for any advice.

More torque! I broke mine free by hand, but it took some effort.
