tyson,
it will be interesting to see you and chad running together in the Pony Express 100.

Chad

can you average 150 for 100 miles? no need for anything but rollbar, 3" 6 points, race seats, helmet and nomex at that speed??? tyson can you?

you wont need your 700 HP unless you run 185+++ and both your cars should be capable of 200+ with fuel cell, etc, but tyres are the limitation, no porsche tyres available above 210.

Watt,

Michelin has tested a tire for the Porsche 996tt at 216 mph. Check with Doug Brown at Michelin Motorsports.

My car's top end is only 190 mph @ 7000 rpm's (gear limited). But, what a ride to 190.

Regarding 150 mph for 100 miles, I believe it would but frankly I havn't tried it yet. I may not have a chance to either, at least with this car. Yesterday, I was offered what I believe to be a world record price for a 996tt. The gentleman wants it for the Virginia City Hill Climb next week. or

ROLAND is using the pirelli which is tested to 217.

chad, a record price is still 1/2 of what you put in it, right!!!

From what I hear, an Enzo, if raced, should win this...

deanger,

You are over rating the Enzo. I already know from first hand experience the cjv/s car go will take it in a rolling acceleration run. Found that out the weekend after the Concourso Italiano in Monterey.

Watt,

The offer is in excess of 320K. You will have to guess as to what I have into it as to weather or not it would be a loss.

I am not suprised to hear you out rolling start raced an enzo -- nor do I think I am over-rating it...

Best of luck in the climb.

Well, as much as as I said 'Say it ain't so'... I think that offer sounds pretty good.

Consider -- Take the offer, and then use the $$ to start work on the -- CJVCGT!

That's not true. 700hp comes in handy to make mincemeat of straightaways on the track or in the canyon, as long as you have awesome brakes.

I don't know if I can average 150 for 100miles because I have not tried it before. If your GT2 can do it, why couldn't my Turbo??? I'm only running 0.2bar more boost than you are, with additional fuel.

the "B"

..would be Beddor. F. Beddor ordered 959 # 002, 003, 004 of the US versions. Their Ruf's, well that would make for a long story.
