Virginia City, NV
Sorry the offer was bogus. Why didn't you go to the hillclimb? I didn't think they were linked. I only ask because I was very excited to hear how it went. I was excited by your post that the scargo would be giving Enzo's a run for their money (yes I know you didn't say that exactly)... Etc. Anyway, please advise what happened and what happened at the event. Races like this one are an excellent proving ground for cars.
For those interested, there's a homeade video (probably still out there) with good in car footage of the Virginia City Hillclimb. The video is called the "NSX Files"; it's pretty amateurish, but also very funny in a sort of ironic, dry humor, car guy sort of way. There are also a number of good in car video scenes from a variety of events in addition to the VC Hillclimb. I have a VHS copy laying around somewhere if anyone wants to borrow it. I particularly like the scenes pertaining to the "Ultima GT", a sort of low volume half race car/half street car. It looks impressively fast as it leaves the line. Then, later in the video, there's extensive footage covering the debris field that resulted from what must have been a spectacular crash after it left the road and headed down into a ravine. The driver was apparently unhurt; and I believe it was none other than Bondurant instructor and P-car pilot Darren Law at the wheel.
deanger,
I keep changing things and fell behind schedule wise. It should be finished tonight.
I don't know who won the event. I didn't go.
Besides, Watt is correct. The "cjv/ s car go" really is for discuession purposes only.

Yes,
but that is about to change. First, second and third are about to be extended a bit. Picked up some new gears and a steel syncro for first gear.
Caution: According to Surgeon General Watts these gears and syncro are for discuession purposes only. Actually using the "cjv/ s car go" can be dangerous to your health.

Watt,
The thread was started on 9-11.
Actually, everything is working just fine.
The viewing ratings are way up thanks to you.
I know I'm a little behind schedule but the car should be delivered to Protomotive early next week.
