Battery Maintainer

Happy New Year to everyone!
What is a good Battery Maintainer / charger? Sorry i searched but couldnt find a good answer. I am planning on driving my car maybe once or twice every two weeks during winter. What is the best solution to prevent battery drain?

So far I have found these at suncoast...not sure which one to buy. Recommendations please.

I have a couple of Schumackers (Wall Mart) for $32.00 a piece and work perfect.

I have the first one you listed on the Suncoast website. It has worked just fine for nearly 2 years.

I've used a Battery Tender Plus 12 Volt for many years on cars and motorcycles. It is the original battery maintainer...
Less than $38 here.

Do the Schumacker's have an auto cutoff on them when the battery reaches full charge? $32 sounds better than the $114 one with the P tax on it.

I also have the Baterry Tender Plus.... but I paid $69.00 @ pepboys the online purchase is a much better price.

Works great and the lights tell you the status:
Red-Charging / Green flashing-@ 80% / Solid Green-Maintaining.

I have this one and it works very well, as I am sure they all do. Mine has a second attachment (not shown here) that converts it to a direct battery mount with spring loaded clips.

Based on the comments here, I did an Internet search and bought it from Amazon for $39. Thanks for the info and endorsements that helped me zero in on one that seems to work well for a number of Porsche folks.

I did a Google search for the Battery Maintainer Plus and got this one. The picture is exactly the same one the other folks were talking about:

Shipping Method: Standard Shipping Shipping Preference:Group my items into as few shipments as possibleSubtotal of Items: $39.99 Shipping & Handling: $6.73 ------ Total for this Order: $46.72

Shipping estimate for these items: January 2, 2009 1"Deltran SuperSmart Battery Tender Plus 12-Volt 1.25 AMP Battery Charger"
Misc.; $39.99

Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC

There was another $6 charge for shipping so it came to a total listed above. Insofar as the link goes....I can't find it, but it came off my Google search. After I ordered it from Amazon, I also saw them a bit cheaper on eBay for around $40 with free shipping....but since Amazon has an established reputation, I went with them.
