Question Window Motor/Switch

Have a 2003 and the passenger window is not lowering itself slightly to open and then to close. Anybody have this problem and if so is it a switch or does the motor have to be replaced?

Should just have to be re-learned. Did you disconnect the battery for short time period? 1) Turn the key to ON position. 2) Hold the passenger window switch down for at least 10 seconds AFTER the window is fully down. 3) Repeat step (2) for UP function. Everything should be ok. If not then its an internal problem.

It is possible that its a faulty microswitch, but more commonly its is the window regulator that fails in the 9X6 cars. You can source a used one for about 100 bucks, and the install is not too bad if you follow instructions (I believe there is a good diy on renntech). I did this repair in my old c2 and it took me about two hours (got the regulator from Oklahoma foreign). Good luck.
