PSM/ABS light problems still..please help

Well, I went to my local dealer to check why my PSM/ABS light keeps going on, and now the CEL is going on and off under hard acceleration. They diagnosed it and I was told there is a torque transfer problem and to check the DME which is making the PSM/ABS light go on only under hard acceleration. It is weird since it only does it at speeds over 90+.(I know I am speeding.) They changed the MAF under warranty, and that seems to have fixed the CEL, and they were hoping that it would fix the PSM/ABS also....but no luck there. Does anyone know what this problem could be? Also, I had a problem with plenty of bar showing .8-1.0, but the acceleration seems to be not as violent (weird choice of word) as before. They are saying it may be my Baileys DV, but I told them it was fine for 6 weeks, until my dash just went ballistic with all of these warning lights. Thanks everyone

i'm not sure too... but i have psm/abs light on recently... after the fuel injection upgrade.

Todd from Evo: is it common for GT700 to produce this fault code? b/c it doesn't happen all the time, but just after/during hard acceleration. And when I restarted the engine, the code went away. I'm just kind of worried about it...

I've the same problem. When car go up to 90+mph the ABS/PSM light goes on????

I installed: Upsolute, Baileys DV, K&N filter and BB exhaust.

Yea, it is weird since it will only go on under full acceleration, and I know when it is going on when the car hits 90+ mph. I watch the tach and speedo, and then know it will go on. After I turn off and restart, it goes out......then on again at the 90+ mark. The only mod on mine are the Bailey's.

Also the dealer said that it was some kind of a torque tranfer fault reading. ....odd....very odd at my higher speeds. I would think it would go off when I accelerate off of the line.

Check your MAF....I had the same problem... dealer replace it and no problems at all.

When you get the PSM/ABS code...take it straight to the dealer and have them read the code. Dont restart the car (and clear the code) as the dealer wont be able to read it.

Yea, what happens if the fault shows up when the dealer is closed? Keep the car running overnight?

The car should have flash memory to record the fault code.

Dealer will blame on my Upsolute turning? Or this is nothing to
do with the chip?

Very funny..... How about reproducing the PSM/ABS fault code the next day when the dealer is open?

I took it to the dealer and there was no code stored. Once the PSM/ABS fault was triggered and not reset, that's when they were able to read it as a defective MAF.

I've had no issues. have them run the code and see what it pulls up. If it's a defective MAF, they should replace it under warranty.

Actually they just replaced my MAF under warranty this past Monday, but the PSM/ABS light has gone back on. I am so frustrated with the light, and the lack of acceleration this past 2 weeks. I am getting high bar numbers .8-1.0, but no strong acceleration. Could my Baileys DV's be defective?

Must be a boost leak of some sort. When I used to get the PSM/ABS light....performance was never affected. Check the hoses to the DVs and make sure they're not split/cracked.

I get the same think around 90 and the car is bone stock! BTW the computer stores all the faults and you can access them even thought you have turned off the car. The only way to clear the code is with the Diag machine at the dealership.

That's what I thought...however, according to the dealer, they couldnt find the code until the PSM/ABS fault was triggered and left uncleared.

Oh well.....

Regardless...hope all you guys get it resolved.
