Damn trucks!

 

The guy who builds the turbo's & intakes for this Dodge is a friend in Knoxville. The irony is he bought my Dodge Ram, his very first Dodge Ram, that started all his Cunnins performance work in 1995. He now has a Pro Stock truck running a Cummins on the 1/8th mile running high 5 second passes. Has not run 1/4 mile yet, but he will probably run in the high 9 second range.

 

That is really cool. Makes me question if I should sell my V8 Treg and do the 10 Cly TDI

 

How in the world? What did he do to that thing?

 

For starters he is running about 80 pounds of boost. Lots of intake and injection work. Surprisingly the lower end is bone stock!

The K&N filter is no longer part of the package....it's 1650 CFM rating was not high enough and has been round filed. The red objects would be the turbos (2 of them).



The icewater intercooler resides in the passenger seat.

 

Looks like a turbo that belongs on a Detriot.
