JiC Cross settings

I know many of you have the JIC Cross. I'm having mine installed tomorrow with AP control arms and GT3 front and rear sway bars. For primarily street driving what settings on the JIC Cross do you like?

For street I would go a couple clicks from full soft and you will have plenty of
stiffness and turn in.

remember that full soft is counterclockwise until it stops. The orientation is if you were looking at the ****.

The front is so light that it will have a "bounce" affect if to stiff on the street. Go with softer up front. For the rear, if you want more squat and bite for turns with acceleration, go soft. I usually put the rears at middle to start. But the front sway bar on the middle hole and but the rear on the 2nd from stiff.

Ez

I ended up with full soft front and rear, and I'm pretty happy with it. I didn't try 2 clicks from full soft rear...yet. I have the GT3 swaybars, adjustable drop links and adjustable rear control arms... all set to GT2 specs very similar to what Dan at Vivid suggests. My car is lowered approx 15cm from stock, though not too low, as I still drive it most days. I started with dampening settings at mid level front and rear and loved the ride on highways, though the front bounce on rough roads was a bit too much...and my wife and her DD's didn't like it either. I set them to 3 from full soft in front and 5 from full soft in the rear, and the ride was much worse, with still a lot of bouncing but none of the performance increase from the stiffer ride. A lot of creaking in the cabin as well, as if front and rear of the car were perpetually out of sync. At full soft, it's still a lot stiffer than stock, but doesn't punish you over potholes or other road hazards. I'll experiment with 1-2 clicks stiffer from full stock, and stop when my wife risks putting her eyes out. Good luck.

It sounds like you have tried a few settings with yours. I'll start at 2 from the softest and go from there. Good luck with your wife http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:

I believe on that specific model it's done from the top.

Rears are on top of the dampers. reach behind the rear seats and pull up the carpet flat that is before the "bench" part. If you have the bose, you need to remove it.

removing rear carpet

None of the carpet pieces want to come loose/off without massive force. Do not want to damage anything.... I do have Bose. Essentially 3 carpet sections: 1) directly behind seat back, 2) front part of bench (w/the Bose outlets) and behind running to the rear window. Which piece needs to go?

Thanks.....

the carpet below the TURBO badge is what pulls up.
