Dyno in Houston?

I'm going to be installing my K16g's with an EPL here in the next couple of weeks hopefully and want to do a dyno run before and after. Does anyone have any good shops/dynos that they recommend I should go to? Thanks

Edwin

Take a look at this thread.

Have you converted to rear wheel drive only?

Thanks for the link boss. So... if I'm reading it correctly, I either have to disconnect my front diff or go on a AWD mustang dyno? To answer your question, I'm still AWD

There may be other AWD dynos - but the drums have to be linked for sure, both turning at the same speed.. Someone (you ) should give those guys a call that are listed on the thread toverify the setup..

Edwin,
The easiest way to dyno around here is to disconnect the front driveshaft which takes all of 15minutes or so. If you use my buddies shop (G-Force Motorsports in Pearland/Friendswood area) my brother and I can help you with the removal and reinstall. That is where I dyno my car as well as where Tommy has dyno'ed many high horsepower Supras.

Chris,

Thanks for the offer to help. I really appreciate it. Have you gone RWD? How hard is it to do it? I'm thinking I might just go all time RWD

How about these guys? They have AWD Dyno but I think yet to be confirmed whether the drums turn together...

Mike @ BAR Tuning uses them. Prices are pretty reasonable too if I remember. Before and after dyno runs are around $150

I was RWD for about 2 weeks, but I hated the fact that I spun anytime I got into boost. So I am back to AWD and loving it because of the traction that is always there. It is very easy to go back and fourth as long as you're just removing the front driveshaft.

Gotcha. Did you ever get your plugs changed out?

That is my plan for this weekend. I need to install my new center console, Short throw shifter, headers (and wastegates), exhaust, plugs, and the screen. I'm hoping I can get at least some of that done LOL!

I hopefully have the help of both my brother and Zac this weekend so I should be fine.

Well.. I'll be getting my K16g turbos installed this thursday and I wanted to get a before and after dyno to see the real gains I have... but after researching, it appears that there is no good dynos in houston without having me to disconnect my front drive shaft. Unless someone can recommend me a dyno that won't hurt my AWD, I guess I won't be able to have a before/after dyno. Any recommendations?
