I was as low as your car and I had the complete GT Street kit incl. the carbon fiber lip, that was the only very expensive disposable thing ( 990,- ) what I needed during my ownership , I still have two a painted flat black used one and a brand new one , all depends on your streets and where you go, I did all the steep driveways and stuff like that side ways

I am having built an actual lip for the bottom of the tech art bumper that is designed not to shatter but to actually protect the front end. It will look similar to the cheap plastic ones but made to flex and with skid protection underneath. Anyone else interested?

I have the same issue.. I think it is just the way of things unless you raise you car up. I did put several layers of clear bra on the bottom and that has helped as it scraped that instead of the paint. And I can replace it

I know when I had the original CF lip...which lasted about 1 month before it shattered, I was always hitting. Since I used the plastic lip from the GT Type I bumper, I have not hit at all. Mine is probably not dropped as much as yours FWIW (3/4"-1")

Do you have a part number for it?

I scraped the bottom of my front the first day I drove it out. The way I see it... I'll be as careful as I can but 1) no one can see the scrapes and 2) I can always have it repainted so I'm going to just go out and enjoy driving the car.
