Boost controllers.. and other questions..?!

This is a new arena to me.. I've had my 911TT for a few years now, but with extreme pressure from my good friend, I've given him the go ahead towards some major upgrades on my car.. I'm very lucky that he will 'hook' me up with knowledge and free labor You got to love enthusiasts.

First question is the boost controller. From researching 6speed, it seems that the majority of people here like the Greddy Profec B controller. Why? Is it just the popular choice or do people like other controllers?

Hes pushing that I get the Blitz Dual SBC spec R controller, hes always run it and had great results.. no spikes etc.

Looking forwards to your answers.. as I may be asking quite a few questions down this journey of ours...

Thanks,
Bojan

The Profec B is just the recommended one to use. I use to have a HKS EVC VI. I thought it broke, but come to find out a wire just got snapped, so I ordered a new EBC (now I feel like an idiot). You do not have problems with major spikes, etc. with the Profec due to the low amounts of boost we run on these cars compared to things such as Supra's, EVOs, WRXs, and so on.

What turbos is he recommending you to get?
