True.. I heard that the Evo VIII FQ MR-340 is almost as quick as a turbo on the track and in the straight... that car also is not comming across the pond

A porsche it's not, but I would hardly call the C5 or C6 junk. Practically ever car magazine has had nothing but rave reviews for both the C5 & the C6.

The C5 was a tremendous improvement on the C4, and I would expect the C6 to be an equally large improvement over the C5.

When you consider the performance you get for the money, I don't think you can go wrong.
