Just got in from the GAF. We started the day at around 6:00 am. We had 3 TTs 1 GT2 and 2 C4Ss and most importantly 4 Valentines
We all had 2 ways to keep in touch. It's about a 4.5 hour ride down to Ventura. The ride was great in fact the most fun I have ever had driving. Watching everyone blasting down 101 was awesome. Sharkey's straight pipes wre incrediable and Fred's new Fabspeed sounded great. Fred HRE;s are great looking. No tickets even though we encountered about 20 CHP in both directions. I have some PICs but I am a little tired. I will try to post tomorrow.
To all the guys on the ride down... thanks for the memories.
Oh the GAF... it was great There must have been over 100 Turbos there. All in all it looked to be over 600 Porsches of all makes and years. A great turn out. Met Todd and his team at EVO. By Design had about 20 Vehicles there. All of them were awesome.
I had to leave early so I solo'd on the way back. Wasn't quite the same but it still fun to drive the ar for so long.
My Top speed was 128. But over 90 most of the way otherwise.

I have to second rspireti, it was a BLAST! Driving down was soo much fun as it reminded me of Gumball. Put it this way Gumball was exactly the same thing but for 3000 miles and quicker ;-)
And it was a great pleasure to meet fellow board members. Now I can put faces with aliases.
I too am very tired and will post pics tomorrow. I should have some great shots.
Good nite

At least once per month a bunch of us norcal porshce guys go on mountain fun drives and we'd always love to have you come along. You are obviously into this stuff in a big way just like the rest of us nut cases!
I loved it when we were all in the left lane doing about 105 and then my V1 went off and synchornously ALL six cars pulled into the right lane and slowed down. I knew exactly what that was about

PS I'd love it if sometime you could take me for a spin in them PSS9s
By the sound of what you said, when it comes time to replace my suspension that's the best way to go?PPS AVOID Steven's Creek Porsche. Just go get any kind of mods/work done at Claridge's Porsche (only takes 20mins to get there). Ask for Kimo and Rick, trust me you'll be well taken care of.
met josh there today who ran down with you guys in my first gt2!
and they parked me next to him, saw no other gt2's but lots of fab early cars, TT's out the yinger, there must have been 1500 porsches there!!!!

was I the only one who got a ticket on the way back from the auto fest? seemed like there were cops all over the place waiting to tag people (going south to OC). He also gave me a ticket for my tint
Great show though, saw a ton of very nice cars and got many exterior/interior ideas.

That was a great run! Enjoyed meeting all of you.
Looking forward to the next one.
Sharky, you need a "Loud Pipes Save Lives" bumper sticker.
BTW, Watt has come up with the answer for cleaning bugs out of the GT2 radiator....

josh is kidding, the ants are eating the dead grasshoppers out of my grill from 1500 high speed miles in Nevada. when i got home, the yellowjackets descended to help as well... only enuf left for the ants now..
the latex protects the paint, but they slam into the radiators also
