So I was looking for something to drive the GT2 to tonight (got a nap after work) and I went to the local message board (yes it is a "ricer" board...but all the cute young gals freak whenever I roll up in my GT2 at one of their events) to see if anything was happening tonight locally.

It looks like there are not any worthwhile events, but I ran accross this: female racers....look

It was so funny I just had to share. And I know it is off topic related but there are so many of the Houston crew in here that it was necassary to post it here. Anyhoo, it did start with me wanting to take the GT2 out.

When I lived in Houston, I worked at Don McGill Porsche Audi on I-10. I heard it has changed hands recently. Anyway, my sales manager used to call these type of women "dirtlegs". Is that term still in use down there?

No, that was in '78-'79. Also worked at the one out I45. I think it was called North Freeway Porsche Audi. Car business was not for me. Back then it was a business based on deception and half truths. In some ways it has improved and in some ways not.
Traffic was horrendous back then. I can't imagine how it even moves now.
One great thing about that time, I bought my first 911. I got about 15 speeding tickets in the year or so I had that car. Tickets cost about $40 regardless of the speed. I had a lawyer who charged me the cost of the ticket plus $40. He would postpone the trials so many times that the police would no longer show up. I never got a single point on my license. Wish it was still like that.
