Has anyone ever been to the huge Swap Shop in Florida. It's basically a massive indoor/outdoor market of cheapo stuff on the grounds of a 20-plex drive in theater.

Well, the owner has an INSANE car collection, of which he holds a SMALL part of in doors near the food court. Enjoy the photos, I know I enjoyed taking them!

If anyone else has additional photos or information about this guy, I don't know his name, but I am told he's a famous race car driver?

I meet him once at Homestead speedway for the FXX series. I think his first name is Preston, older guy nice & friendly.

 

His name is Preston Henn.

 

Great post. I see him driving to and from his house a lot. He lives over on the beach in Deerfield or Boca. Looks like he is always coming from a place called Hillsboro Mile. A very high end and exclusive beach front property area. My office is down the street from him there.

I have seen him drive a few of these cars. Fun to see the photos. The Swap Shop has been there for years - a staple in Ft.Lauderdale, but I never knew that he had a display like that there. Amazing for sure. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the post.

He used to race 962s at Daytona and elsewhere during the era of Group C cars. A very cool guy.
