Interesting that

DMS in the UK essentially do the same but don't have to solder in a new chip like Upsolute, I wonder why that is ?

Absolutely flawless Upsolute power for past 6k miles in past year... plenty of boosted runs... dyno backed... Bill has even more mileage than me.

About to plunge into Upsolute-Kevin Stage II setup... Bill/Jeff, I'm on my way!!

Upsolute installed nine months ago. I've never had an issue with CEL's, MAF or any other problem. Amazing performance. Also have B&B exhaust, K&N and Baileys.

They need to hurry up, post a dyno for that setup, and I will be sold.
Tuesday, Jeff will be dynoing his...i'll be there as well to see it in action.... I may or may not jump on as Im looking for a Dynojet as opposed to MUSTANG AWD.

we're also planning on doing some side by side runs to see the difference.

I too have the $500 Stage I Upsolute. I've run around 12K miles / 1 year with it and no problems except a blown diverter valve. This is not really Upsolute's fault as I am told that the increased boost from any chip will cause the factory DVs to fail early. I now have an HKS BOV.

I have dynoed my car to confirm the performance upgrade, and it is indeed as advertised!

With respect to running with a stock exhaust: yes it will still be worthwhile, but you won't get anywhere near the full performance and aural enjoyment of the car with an opened up exhaust.
