whats the widest size rear tire you can put on the oem 996turbo 18" wheel.. not the gt2 ...

I was told 315 in the back and 240 in front

the car gets loose in 2nd
steering response is much tighter and more responsive

Has anyone tracked with 315's on stock rims in the rear? Under cornerring loads any rubbing inside or out? The Nitto NT01's are a good $$ option but not available in OEM sizes, 315's are available though.

yes ran the Nittos 245 front 315 rear on stock rims, they are great. and that is the size to run on stock rims.

the below are stock wheel sizes with those tires on at Daytona under hard cornering

Ok, I thought you ran GT2 wheels?? I almost took the plunge to try out the Nittos in my last track tyre purchase, but a deal came by to get some Yoko A048's very discounted, they are on there now, OEM sizes. Maybe when they are done I will try out the Nitto's.

Tom, in that picture, what was your suspension setup? I imagine my car loads up more (softer springs) and is probably as low (1.25" drop).
