HELP! Did a pressure test .....

I thought I might have a vacume/boost leak somewhere, so I did a test at around 15psi. I could hear some air coming out somewhere towards the rear(firewall) left side kind of underneath. Took a look under the car and to my horror, I saw a puddle of oil on the floor, about 5" in dia. Oil was dripping slowly right at the back middle of engine. Is it possible I blew the main seal out at 15psi??? I'm going for a drive to see if oil leak persists.

Thanks in advance, Karl

Karl, i would suggest you not run it until some of the more experienced 6speeders offer their insights

It may be coming out of your catchcans. Determine whether the check valve to the sump tank is faulty.

Hey guys, just got back from my drive(about 50miles) stopped and checked several times. No additionnal oil is leaking. This leads me to beleive it was maybe oil from the crank breather or some thing like in the previous post: Catchcans. Im not familiar with what those are but it sound like they are for overflow oil. Maybe I just blew whatever oil was in those. Hopefully I'll get more replies from other 6Speeders, I can't imagine this is the first time this has happened.

Thanks again
