Protomotive 24/18g idle speed

Ever since I installed the 18g set up a month ago my idle seems higher than normal. It really didn't bother me until I got an low oil indication and found that I can't get a reading due to high revs (1000-1100 rpms) Has anybody else had this issue?

Some tuners raise the idle to accomodate a LWFW? Maybe that's your issue? 1000-1100 is kinda high. Mine is about 850-900. Maybe you have a vaccum leak? Did it start idling high after your 18G flash?

I did have an lwfw installed while getting the 18g setup, and it did idle high after coming back from the tuners. will check for vacum leaks. Thanks

If you have a lower idle (like stock) you will tend to stall it with the LWFW. Thats why tuners raise it a little. Maybe you could ask your tuner what your idle is SUPPOSED to be set at and see if it has changed, if not ask him to lower it and see if you like it?
