some people say it'd be helpful avoiding a ticket if u're a member of the Foundation.
however, the membership fee is not cheap itself

just can't get another ticket in 3 years. when i'm in TT, it's hard to stay 65 especially all the horses

Josh has them too, as well as many other people I know. You will see the plates mostly on Porsches, Ferraris, M5's, and Lambo's.

I have been pulled over twice and both times let go. So I know it works.

I am sure others will second purchasing a membership ;-)

so did u pay $1800 once or renew every year?

will they give u second plate frame if u have 2 cars?

also, if i don't want to use the frame on the back how cop would know i'm a member?

really have to think about it...

the $1800 is a life time membership (so only pay once)

I got extra frames and purchased another badge. (this way I have them in both cars). One cop told me that the plates don't really mean much to them. What is important is your Membership Card. This way they know you are indeed a member. A frame they say could have been stolen off another car.

I hope this helps.

The 11-99 foundation of which I am a proud member is dedicated to charitable donations to help widow's and children of CHP personnel killed in the line of duty.

The membership for two is a one time payment of $3000.

It is not a badge or license to speed.

ben, lj has a spectacular aura aboutben, lj has a spectacular aura about
don't forget - it's fully tax deductible which makes it quite inexpensive. each extra car (bracket and badge) is either $50 or $100 and I think the first two are free with the member + spouse package (oops, that didn't sound so good!) or first free with a single membership. don't know if it works or not since the only time i've been pulled over (20 over) was also my b-day. so i could have been let go for that. after tax cash is minimal, and it's a good cause - i sure they hell wouldn't want their jobs!
