"Chilling Experience"

Hooked up the CO2 intercooler chillers this weekend. If not anything, its pretty cool tho hear a "whoosh as I hit .8-1.1 bar when the CO2 blows over the intercoolers. Straight forward install, after finding the right way to do it; i.e. where to hook the boost sensor and snake the lines.
Got it from Speednosis
Very accommodating people. Custom fit bars for the intercoolers, all for less then $400.
Why? 1% HP/gain/7-10 degree drop in intake temp. Co2 (dry ice) is 75 below. Good explanations on their web page.

David,

I was considering the Design Engineering product. Did you consider Design Engineering? Are you going to dyno your car? How is the seat of the pants feel? Have you modified your fuel system? The guy I spoke with at Design Engineering reported that some cars require modification of their fuel system or they run lean.

Thanks in advance.

I does both intercoolers, I looked at DEI's a while back but never got an answer as far as 2 intercooler systems. Speednosis took the time to look at TT intercoolers and requirements and fabricated the system for me, at less then a single intercooler kit from DEI. He offed me 2 variations (Matt at speednosis) a dual tank 2 solenoid or single tank with a "Y". I really didn't want 2 tanks so opted for the single system.
There is a notable seat of the pants difference, I'll do some intake temp comparisons and maybe a Gtech Dyno during the next week or so.
BTW I sprayed the tank metal flake black to match the interior better

RE: fuel system
No need to at least for me. EGT stays below 1400, A/F ratio at 12.9...very un-lean. Upsolute custom program at work

Thanks David. The guy I spoke with at Design Engineering offered to sell me a custom 'Y'. I think CJV is using the DE system.

I look forward to your dyno results.

I have installed a cyro system. Used a modified intercooler sprayer along with a modified intake bulb system. We will be dyno testing it this coming Wednesday.
