ok dumb question but I just want to be sure

I was just finsihing up do my breaks. I had all of the brake sensors out perfectly and they were mint condition. I went to put the last one in and I got it caught on the bracket and busted the wire right off...
so now I have to change the sensor. I have the sensor here so thats not a biggy.

I am just wondering the little black clip that looks soooo fragile that holds the brake sensor to the brake line. How does that thing undo I tried opening with a flat but was worried I was going to bust it, such a thin plastic.

And then where it plugs in behind there is see there are 2 plugs in there. so do I just take of the metal clip that holds them both in? and pull out and put the new one in?

Sorry dumb question but I would hate to bust something and have to get all new parts.
