How do I remove the CD holder from the center console?

How do I remove the CD holder from the center console?

Want to make a custom faceplate to hold my Zeitronix where the CD holder currently sits. What do I have to do to remove it?

When i took mine out, i jsut used a small flat head, wrapped in 1-2 layers of masking tape.

I just forced the cd tray out with that.

pop out all the individual cd holders, grab them as a single unit, and just wiggle the whole thing out. That's how I've always removed it from my cars.
