Recommednation on Clutch to hold 800+rwhp

Please share your wisdom on this topic. Please list choies as well as prices. I know Tilton is good but too labor intensive every 2-3K miles. Do you think EVOMS stage IV LWFW with being re-inforced(pressure plate) can hold up this much power. thanks

the UMW LWFW and Clutch I got is supposed to handle that much power and I can do 4k clutch drops with it at the risk of blowing my axles But I haven't installed it yet, will go in next month but it has a 2k mile break in

dang I have bought so much crap over the last 2 months that I cannot remember, but I wanna say it was well over 2k. seems like everything I buy is over 2k these days. I'll have to look and see. but you already have a lwfw right? so your cost would be much less. call him up

I don't remember the name of the clutch, but the one Todd Knighten (Protomotive) used on VR Alexander's car along with a few others has had some very good feedback.

j.mitchell70 is infamous around these parts
Do any manufacturers make a triple plate or double plate clutch for this car? Lightweight flywheel? I'm going to eventually build this car with gt30's so I'm just planning ahead.

Tym Switzer has a twin plate rally package that can hold 700 ftlbs of torque and is quite durable, he or one of his customers (many on this board) can put you in contact with him. I believe he has two types the rally and Carbon Carbon but the most cost effect way is the rally for your application.

regards
Tony

We've found from previous experience that Sachs makes some good stuff for Porsche, They have different kits for different power levels. We are about to put another one in a 997TT.

ATS carbon will hold it.. but if drag racing you need the triple carbon Tilton...
I had both so I know....

Tilton is # 1 (and EXPENSIVE!) but ATS/Carbonetics is a very good second choice.
