New Project called B9R Under Construction...at BBi
New Project called B9R Under Construction...at BBi
You will remember my first project as:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-progress.html
On the current set up the car made 620rwhp on C16 @19psi & 650TQ on stock bottom end (Dyno Dynamics, the most conservative dyno in US). This number will translate into much higher HP when compared to Mustang dyno and Dynojet (projected estimation of 660rwhp & 690 TQ). The car ran a best 6.14sec @19psi from 60-130 and a best 1/4 mile of 10.89sec @ 133mph with a 1600 DA.
I had to re-name this project to make it personalized. B9R: B=BBi, 9=900HP, R=Art. After sitting down with Betim @ BBi and deciding on the best option for my 996tt, we aligned our goals to move up the power a few notches in order to preserve the engine with the addition of the following:
3.8L Conversion
2 Piece flame ring kit
Carrillo Rods
Head Studs (New innovation by BBi)
Modified Clutch
Modified Injectors
Modified fuel set up, fuel rails, pumps
Generation GTXXX Turbos
ECU Tune Todd Knighton (Protomotive)
Modified Valve Springs
44mm Wastegates
BBi custom modified headers
BBi custom exhaust
Modified Cams plus GT3 synch ups
Modified heads
Ceramic coated modified cage
Modified IC's
New modified Y pipe by IPD Mike
BBi Coil Packs (New design)
The project will begin next week by removing the engine and starting the head work. I will post pictures of the build weekly to keep you all posted and continue with the final projection of Dyno results and AFR.

Thanks bro, this is the forum where all the mod bug starts

Thanks Joe, we were actually thinking about 9ff cams from Germany. We will see what our luck has to bring. The mod is actually starting to cost a bundle

Good luck, Art!
