2001 Navigation Question-- Canada

being that my turbo is an 2001 with stock navigation (not an option in Canada at the time), there's no Canadian disk available for it.....

my 2001 BMW 530i however has stock navigation--and DOES have a Canadian disk.

Ironically enough--both disks are made NAVTEQ.... I'm wondering if it's possible to implement the data from one disk into the other (meaning keep Porsche navigation configurations, but swap the data files). I tried just swapping CDs and it didn't work

Any thoughts?

I think that one of the problems is that you will be stuck with old maps even if it could be done. Best to bite the bullet and replace the head unit with a modern one.

Would map discs from an '03 TT work? Send me a P.M. with your email.
