Thanks to everyone for the very kind words .I will give it another shot tomorrow.The power is there to go faster but at those speeds the car needs some more suspension work and a chute.We also lost the front belly pan on the first run so we need to figure that out in the am because it will likely have an effect on stability.

246.2?!?!??! WOW what kind of power is that thing putting down? To beat that I think someone's going to have to put a 917 engine into a go-cart. I can't wait to read about all the times people put down tomorrow!

gorilla tape/200mph tape is your friend

also race cars tape all the front seams, hood/fender gaps and headlight gaps, might be an idea.

Assuming stock height tires, you'd need over 8,000 rpm to reach 230.

Great conditions for the mile today. 51F 41% humidity and a 14 kt WNW wind. I believe this makes an almost perfect tail wind for runway 28. Records are gonna fall today.
