221.3 mph First shakedown pass of the day. TX mile EVOMS GTXXXX

JoeTwinT's car just ran a 221.3 on his first pass. They are not even close to max boost. That thing is an animal. 3300lbs plus driver.
They are packing it up for the day and I'll update tomorrow.

Stupid question, not familiar with the TX mile. is 221.3 MPH?

Correct, that is the speed achivied in a standing mile.

Texas Mile is a 0 to one mile competition. All cars start from a stop and their miles per hour are measured at the point that they cross the 1 mile mark. 221.3mph is VERY fast. This car did 919.7awhp Wednesday before it left for the track!
