Angry Side window saga goes on...

My side window 1 inch drop/lift is fixed. The whole door handle mechanism was exchanged. It was the micro switch but the dealer only changes the whole door handle mechanism.

However window has now also developed a squeak (noise) as I lower it and raise it – unrelated to the micro switch problem. Dealer says window guides need to be changed. I asked if they can’t simply be lubricated? They said no, as the window then smears.

Anyone had this and has successfully lubricated the window guides.

Did you manage to fix the squeaking problem?

I'm starting to get it on my passenger window too

Yas and no. As the weather warmed up it cleared - squeak free. But I bet it comes back towards the winter.

Maybe put your windows all the way down and treat the rubber to this:
