Techart bumper w/ lip practical for DD?

Guys, for those of you that have techart (or replica) bumper...would you consider it impractical for everyday use? I love the look, but worry that I'll be taking it to the shop all the time...esp w/the big lip LA streets suck. Feedback please!

As a daily it really depends on how low your car is, if your planning on using as a daily with the big lip be prepared to get very friendly with your body shop. I think you will be better off with the small lip and angle up on driveway's, the problem is that the Techart bumper is longer causing the clearance issue. I attached some pictures of my car with the big lip and without:

My car is sitting on H&R coilovers with a TA front with the lip like the 2nd pic Tony has. Road wise, it's fine as unless you are driving on roads with heavy construction, it's ok. Your concern should be whether or not you drive into places (driveways, gas stations, etc) with higher slopes.
I haven't had any trouble with anything...you will find if anything, your lip (or front scrape guard) will get some scrapes but nothing major.

I run the small lip on my car... like tony said, it all depends on where you drive.

No doubt, bro. I live in the South Bay. Actually looking to buy a new place in Hermosa right now. So far only one that I've seen has a driveway that wouldn't tear up a big lip! Hell my stock turbo lip scrapes everywhere as it is, even @ angles....

yeah and don't forget, the TechArt front is maybe an inch lower than the stock oem turbo bumper than you have that lip...
