The bumperettes were a turn off for a lot buyers - IMHO

That just can't be right? I've never seen such a dramatic difference of cars of the same generation. If so the 01's are still great cars.

I know, it is bizzare.... BTW, i made a typo, it is an 03 vs. 01.

The 02's are still ~$7k more than 01, and 03 15k.

Other than the glovebox, cupholder, and possibly some other minor things, I just dont get it.

What may affect the averages is X50s, i don't think they were sold in 01, and there is not a separate "option" for x50 on KBB.
