Got to drive a 24/18G car today...
I have 1/4 miled both my former low clearance K16/24 and current k24/18G set-ups numerous times. The difference in best runs and average runs is about a 6 MPH trap speed and the average difference in ET is about .5 seconds with the advantage to the K24/18G. Same car, same tires, same temps, etc...This may not sound like much, but it is a huge difference in real world acceleration.

We never got above about 110mph in either car and were on curvey secondary roads, so I couldn't tell you where he would close on me. Maybe Gunther's car is "that much faster"... I didn't feel it at the speeds we were running, but it doesn't mean it "isn't". Then again, where do we spend most of our time driving?
