Painted my bumperettes and made a wiper delete plug,
I don't want to take anything away from the good vendors that provide this service. It's messy, and time consuming. The fumes stink. The patience for perfection is hard.... I'm just a hands on guy with the time and just enough ability to do this. So here goes:
Stopped by the hardware store for some 1 inch plastic plugs.

Then off to the paint shop for some plastic adhesive promoter, some arctic silver and some clear. Cleaned, prepped and shot the plug and bumperettes and they look much better color matched.
The wiper motor comes out in 5 minutes after pulling the panel straight out, unclipping the electrical plug and 3 bolts. Popped the plug in with a thin ring of silicone adheisive applied to the edge to ensure no water can get in. Done

The inside rear panel pulls out from the top. Start from a top corner, and pull straight towards the seat back. There are 5 or so clips on the top. Just work your way slowly from one side to the other. Once off, the bolts and electrical connection is right there.
All told, wiper motor, arm, blade and stuff maybe 3-4 lbs.
