no headlights tonight!

I was out tonight and on my way home no lights only the running lights came on. Anyone else have this problem before? The last week or so the lights have had a small delay after turning on before they came on. Any thoughts on this would be great.
thanks mike

95% of the time it's the headlight switch we change them all the time. hope this helps.

sometimes the headlight(s) become loose and you need to tighten them up to ensure full contact for the plug ins

I'm having similar issues with the lights taking time to come on. I jiggled the switch but that doesn't seem to do anything. I did turn on the brights and that seemed to get the low beams on.....

FWIW

I had a problem with the ignition switch, wiggle the key and see if the lights (and ac fan) come on. Basically when you turn the ignition key, it doesn't rotate all way back by itself. You will need to replace the gun shaped piece the ignition barrel fits into, relatively inexpensive, but a pain to fix.

Just about to post a thread about this. Glad I used the search feature! Thanks you guys! I have a 2003 Twin Turbo Tip with the same problem and it was the headlight switch. Jiggled it and they popped on after a while.

Best,

John
