Very Nice Shawn but until I get enough experience under my belt ( only really get to ride in the spring and summer out east ) I would rather spend $7-8k tops on a toy like this

Rather leave the rest of the $$$ for more car mods LOL

PS - down in South Florida this tursday through sunday for a bunch of horse races if you are around

Darren- the Triumphs are great bikes. I have had experience with the speed triple and Daytona three cyl sport bikes and really liked them. My father just got a Daytona and he loves it.
The 600 you're looking at has the same good build quality and a super nice engine and as far as i know they did get those probs worked out. I think of the bikes you were looking at the Triumph was the way to go.

If you're a new rider then get a fresh second hand R6. Once you get comfortable with riding a sports bike, throw it away and get a Ducati.

Ah the charm and magic of Japanese sports bikes ;-)

Thundarr is infamous around these parts
Triumph

Dang dude, I didnt know the new Daytona was a 646 CC!!! Ive ridden the Kawi 636 twice and had a blast on it both times ... had it been my bike id have had the front end up no problem in 2nd gear, just wacking open the throttle all the way.

I bet that Daytona is a really really nice bike. Wise choice Darren and not somthing that everyone else has too! ... I need to go sit on one and find out what they close out for. Not many Triumph dealers around here tho.

later!
