Bought OEM GT2 Wing Wiring Harness
SubscribeGT2 does not have wing wiring harness,it is stationary.
See my thread on the fan flow direction. I have a harness from MA Shaw and have had issues with error lights for the spoiler. The fan is another issue....and for my car, air going from outside to inside seems to make the temperatures lower inside, a lot lower.
Good luck. You may have gotten the wrong harness. Regardless, I'd get the ma shaw part. I think it was under 150.

Was that proven to work? I thought I saw another thread with that information but it wasn't confirmed to work properly in all cases. It would be a great DIY project if it did work that way. Originally Posted by dgreen78

Worked great on my car. It is just simply putting two wires together.Originally Posted by Steve Theodore

I can sell the old decklid with harness.....full working thing with all wiring...whenever I want to do so... and I can go back in 10 minutes.
Just my logic.

i did not even do anything on mine and never had the spoiler light, i just put the spoiler in up position manually before i removed it, left the micro switch unplugged and the pump unplugged, never had any malfunction light. You must not touch the manual switch though to lower the spoiler.
Been great for the last month

Same here...I installed the aerokit rear decklid and just disconnected the plugs that attach to the hydraulic system. It's been a few months now with no lights - no problems. If you squeeze the plug/connector (they have a spring loaded contact), you will get the spoiler warning the first time you reach 75mph, but if you leave it alone with no pressure on it - no light. It's as simple as disconnecting the hydraulic connectors and driving - that's it.
I had to purchase the harness myself, got so tired of the cell light. When I decided on the cf gt2 wing went ahead and installed the harness which was pretty easy to install. I tried all the different ways of the thread on splicing the wire to no avail. Great investment. If I remember correctly Sunset in Oregon had the best price.
Ok all very interesting and helpful; tks for your insights, I have 100% certain the correct OEM GT2 decklid wiring harness, I will however plug in my TT decklid side by side with the car on a black and decker workbench, raise the spoiler hydraulically with the manual switch and then plug back in the new wiring harness to see if that makes a difference
I tried this below (not very easy either) and unfortunately still the same
"I will however plug in my TT decklid side by side with the car on a black and decker workbench, raise the spoiler hydraulically with the manual switch and then plug back in the new wiring harness to see if that makes a difference"
