Tial Turbos?

I've been persuaded to take a look at these before going 24/18g....

Water cooled center sections. Any feedback? Which size would you get and why?

Cant beat the ball bearing water cooled GT 3071 turbos . I had the same dilemma of going with k24/18g vs GT3071. The GT's are pricey , i wanted to do the turbos one time and be done , GT has more future power potential when you get bored and also have NA like spool. Pulls hard up top etc... Best of all this is the largest direct bolt ons.

Overall I am excited with my decision, will post my reviews next week.

Before and after dynos would be extremely useful to all of us!

My car dynoed 450whp,540 tq on dynodynamics with just k16/16g's no exhaust no filter just turbos and EPL tune. Its more like 480 whp mustang dyno.

Havent dynoed it stock, but will know the increase in power level with 16g as a baseline.

Thanks for all the responses guys.

let's move this thread here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...urbo-poll.html

I'm realizing this step is taking me into mostly (but not entirely) uncharted territory as there are less and less responses to my questions.

Would be very interested to see the change in spool up as well. Are you doing the GT3071 with injectors and rails?

No injectors or rails yet.

Just a 5 BAR for now.

Great turbos but I'd definitely look at extra fuel as well when installing them. Do you plan on running race gas very often, because on 91 octane and only a 5Bar I can't see the 3071s being very much fun in comparison to some of the smaller / quicker spooling options out there.

In my case I will be running 72 lb Injectors for feuling. I am on 93 oct and sometimes use racegas. Racegas is only $3.9 here...so will be running a mix for the most part.

What questions do you have Ari?

I plan on having enough turbo for injectors and an upgraded fuel system down the road.

Mostly run 91 octane 99% of the time.

What do you recommend Wes?

I'm running the EPL/Tial 3071s with just a 5 bar right now and so far have been very pleased. I'm going to be installing injectors soon.

Overall i'm very impressed with how responsive they are and how quickly they spool.

Definitely give Tony a call and order a set!! You won't be disappointed!!

I would personally at least do injectors or go with injectors and an additional pump at the start.
