04 TT cab with X50 and PCCB

Guys,
Trying to help a friend. He is looking at the following: 04 midnight blue TT cab with X50 and PCCB. Car has 14k miles. Asking is $64k. Since I am not in the market, I don't have a good handle on whether or not this is a reasonable deal on this car, in the current environment. I haven't seen it, but it's supposed to be in excellent condition. I thought the price was high, but looking around a bit, maybe not? Any help from those who have recently purchased or sold would be killer.

Very desirable color with VERY desirable options, Price sounds OK to me. You can definitely find a "cheaper" car, but might not be as nicely optioned and not Blue.

I'd say very good price for a cab tt esp with low mileage and X50 pkg. Even better $ if has tiptronic too. (~ was $3200 option). That car probably went for ~ $150+ new in '04.

Who is seller? Private or dealer? If dealer still have time for CPO warranty.

A

Don't forget the PCCB's were also almost an $8K option.

He says the sticker says $168k new! So I guess $104k off for a 5 yr old car isn't bad!

I just purchased an 05 TT- S Cab with 26k miles - Arctic Silver Metallic - $64 K. MSRP was $160,800. Still has 4 months of factory warranty. There are very good deals out there. Good luck to your friend.

He bought it. I saw it and it is immaculate. Was Mike Valentine's old ride. Nice car and sounds like he got a good deal.
