i did a bunch of pulls today to check the cooling effect/heat soak of the new ic's im happy to say the the intake air temp only raised around 7.5 degrees under full load 1.4 bar this is amazing!!... the ambient air temp was 75 degrees

Nice,

I have the same large proto I/C's and they are terrific for repeated high boost or high temp runs. Like a 20 minute session at a road racing track or repeated quarter mile runs without shutting down or the TX Mile. Good Stuff.

Colorinc , was the pills in 4th gear to redline ? what speeds did u go up to?

Those proto IC's are huge and very nice. Markski, yours look even bigger. What about P drop across either of these units, does it increase lag a bit? at the obvious gain of wot power...

they were 3rd gear pulls to redline.. the speed was close to 100mph

the taller the IC the more the pressure dropps... but we make it up with the 2.5 inch all around hard piping.... my ics flow almost 200 cfm more then the current 3.5 inch ics out there... yet the 6 inch flow another 100 cfm....

It woud be interesting to se 4th gear runs since it will hav time for the intercoolers to soak....

amazing how much room there is in that little area. When you first take it apart it looks like there is barely enough room for the factory IC's, then you see bigger IC's, and it dumbfounds you.
