Gilhart Racing is infamous around these parts
Tim,

I don't think it's that easy and we need to hear from a couple of the tuner's who have tried this. By the way you lose your speedo and ability to check your oil via the electronic dipstick.

I just don't know how the car will react in "Limp Mode" and when does it finally decide to go into it.

So far, those are no big deal. I have a display so I don't need a speedo or oil level while running. So far so good.

I have played with this for along time. The best we have beeen able to do to date is eliminate the throttle body shut down portion. This was done by using a TB that didn't receive the signal. I really wish some programmer could adjust the thrush holds for certain sensors.
CJV,
Could you elaborate on this please?

I'm with Color Change. You don't need a speedo or oil check on a 60 sec. autocross. You sure need the engine to not cut out under left foot braking.
