Quick Help on Radio

Guys,

Doing the mother's day thing and haven't had a chance to troubleshoot.

Just moved the radio on my 2003 TT & it's in "protect" mode. I also found a spare 4 pin connector (I think this may be for some other option). I believe on the '03 the radio is mated to the ECU. Do I just need to disconnect the battery or reset with my OBD tool?

the '03+ radio's are keyed to the ecu....if you move them you need a radio code with PST2 or PIWIS to reset.

Disconnected the battery for 2 mins, radio now functioning. I know my '02 you needed a code, I guess this is now hard coded in the ECU.
