Chris is correct, the car is owned by a guy that I know down here in Malibu. He also owns an Enzo, Pagani Zonda S, and every other Ferrari you can think of.

This car is a one-off special by Ruf. It also has the Nardo engine as well. The only problem is that I heard the car is very heavy, something like close to 5000 lbs.

The pics don't do the car justice, however.... it looks amazing in person.

It is not an R turbo sport. There is no such thing. As Hamann7 said, it is a one-off. It has a much wider track, all custom body work... I don't believe it is anywhere near as Hamann7 thinks, but I do know it is heavier than normal. It has close to 600hp, and having sat in it, I can say it is one beautiful automobile.

Gorgeous car! He has one of the nicest car collections I have ever seen, street cars and race cars!

The car has an all metal wide body conversion, and this is the only car with it. 600 hp, rear wheel drive.

Another cool point, instead of just widening the body panels, the headlights and tailights were also spaced outward for a truly wide look!

Carbon everywhere and the rollcage is integrated in the interior body!

Sorry, it was only the headlights that were spaced outwards.

The body work looks ALOT like the black 997 prototype we've seen here lately.

^___^
this wide body conversion can be done at ruf factory only...
it cost around 20,000-25,000 EU only for the widebody.
I email ruf a long time ago regarding to this conversion.
the thing is made of fiber glass and something else... the GT2 wing is custom made as well....(bigger than stock)
