Numbers on my supposedly stock 996tt

Well my car is a getting the K24/18g turbo and a few other small things. They did a before dyno and I'm guessing the car wasn't stock.

Kinesis 996 is infamous around these parts
I am not sure what typical 996 TT dyno at. With your K24 set up, I thought it would dyno a little higher?

Here is a dyno of my father's TT with the stock K16 turbo. All he has is FVD chip, modify intake box, Fab speed 100 cell and exhaust.

From what it looks like, your dyno graph seems quite smooth. Looking at the power curve, it seems to me that this car should have a tune on it.

Don't quote me on it though.

That is before the k24/18 kit. That's why I said supposedly stock. I bought the car sight unseen,Tom Kerr checked the car out in person. The dealership I bought it from didn't mention anything about mods but it definitely can't be stock. Also the Porsche dealership that did the PPI didn't say anything about the ECU being modified.

First of all congrats. Did you notice when driving the boost went over 0.8bar?

Thanks! I haven't actually driven it yet unfortunately. Everything checked out with the PPI and Tom said everything looked good on the car so I bought it and sent it straight to Titan.

No worries with these engines. They can take it believe me unless someone puts the wrong fuel and wrong boost level. You should be ok and your monster should be coming home soon. congrats again you will love the power level.

Yeah I can't wait. Now I have to find a shop that wants to do some touch up work/paint on the Techart bumper/GT2 decklid I picked up from Will.

I would guess that any AWD turbo that makes more than 375-400whp on ANY dyno is at least flashed. Congrats on your purchase!!!

Did they log a/f? You can usually tell if the car is chipped by a/f as well.

Congrats on the purchase! Cant wait to tune it for you!

(car was dynoed in RWD) Definitely think the car had a ECU reflash on the K16s but didn't get to check the boost before the techs pulled it off the dyno, wasn't about to take your car out in the rain to verify for myself either!!!.....the one thing I do know for sure is the car will definitely be making more power once the K24/18Gs go on and Tony gets his hands on it.

Many dealers, especially those in south florida will modify the car prior to sale both new and used. Small upgrades are often hard to identify prior to purchase,I've seen bone stock looking cars with k24s and a flash(non x50), perfrnance clutches and springs, etc) but usually a flash is a welcome suprise. In this case it won't matter much as the program will be over written by EPL.
