Your get to learn who your real friends are.
I'll definitely have to keep this one for a reference.

Exactly. If it makes Chad happy, GREAT. However, the incessant jabs on others' cars has the opposite effect on them. This all started with a very nasty assualt on Todd at Evo by Chad way back when for some strange reason they didn't want to give away their R&D successes to Chad for his use against them in the shoot out Chad organized. Then again, Chad's car was on jacks (as usual) when the shootout came around anyway so it was moot. Good thing Chad's car is an angel because she sure dies a lot.

I do call things the way I see them. Weather or not you happen to agree or not.

The cars i did, where earlier model air cooled. I did upgrade the brakes, suspension, roll cage etc, but nothing crazy. However, i had a 700+rRWHP daily driveable car on pump gas that would tear the *** out of CJV's car in a straightline. Total costs for the conversion, about 40,000.

I have no doubt you have built some nice cars. Just not sure what makes you believe that the car "would tear the *** out of CJV's car" in any line? Reason being it has been almost two years since I have posted anything but a 0-60 time.
As for costs, Indy, F1, Le Mans, Am Lemans, NASCAR or any venue for that matter, I can't remember where money or lack of money has been used to justify the final results.
As for 700+ rwhp on 91 octane (that is 823 plus hp at the crank), you are a far better man than myself as I can't even get close to that number without detonation.

Not 91 octane, but 93 octane in South Florida. The car was a 930, and it weighed 2490pds WET. I used to have video of it on the computer of the second owner taking it through for test and tune, where the owner eases out in first, short shifts into 2nd then hammers it, and turned a 10.90@140mph. Thats babying it at low boost. I usually never ran over 1.1 bar, but i heard the new owner has cranked it as high as 1.8 bar, on race gas of course.

That is a very fast time, especially when you factor into he equation the car's technology preceeded the 996tt by 20+ years.
I can tell you that we didn't bend all six rods without shattering an eleven second quarter. The power and traction was not the issue. Hopefully, we are currently taking care of these issues. We are hoping to make the November 9th Shootout, however if we don't I will post a video of a quarter mile run along with some track footage when S-Car-Go Racing finishes. This car will be a contender in the straight as well as the twisties. I will ask sharkster to take the video and witness whatever happens.

Chad,
You are a sick f*ck, I mean that in the nicest way.
Is there an ultimate goal you are striving for?
Will there ever be an end to this project?
Do you regret getting into this for soooo much money?
I'm not trying to be a wise ***, I am amazed with your commitment and would like to know why one would do all this.

Yea, we have also seen the car bone stock hitting 11s in some mag tests.
Tho we are forgetting his 0-60 time of 2 seconds tested on his ultra accurate g-tech.
