Just a quick update to this track insurance thread. Porsche Club of America has joined with the Lockton/Affinity program and is offering a 10% discount to PCA members. This program is a per event policy and the cost is the same whether it is a 1, 2 or 3 day event with a 5% deductible of the vehicle value. A quick quote of an $80000.00 vehicle returned a premium of $472.00, deductible would be $4000.(PCA price would be $425)
Compare that to the Lloyd's of London policy offered from Ellington Assoc. for a $80000 vehicle the annual policy would be $3340 with deductible of $4700.
Do the math and you get 7 three day events (21 days) before the Lloyds policy makes sense.

does the same apply for 1/4 mile and 1 mile events?

 

I am not sure if they would qualify since they are timed events. Best would be to contact the agent directly.

 

PCA just entered into an agreement w/ a company for this specific purpose. I think you need to be a PCA member to get it.
