Rave, I would do what Andreas did, - silver shade of black..not jet black. That would be a great idea. Make sure its paint, not powdercoat (Weight savings)

IMO PC'ing would be MUCH more durable.

Yea the school thing sux, but there isn't much I can do...
I have the K24 Race turbos right now (we sell these in our level 3 kit). We port and polish them and throw some new impelers in... Quite honestly there is not much (if any) lag over my stock turbos.... I am very impressed with them after about 4,000 miles!!! On the street I love my setup, but on the highway....the K24/K26 kit SCREAMS!!!
Anyway, I am going to stick with stock turbos only because the K24's were on my car for testing and I don't have the money to buy them and keep them... Level 2 is plenty quick for my daily driver and I have yet to be defeated by an AMG with them
.
It will be FVD USA heading out there (we didn't have enough time to prepare a car in Germany like we wanted). I believe it will be Bryan (sales manager) out there, I am sure you guys will have fun (He isn't much older than you). ***** (owner of FVD worldwide) might make it out...he will be at SEMA for sure.

He was supposed to call me back last week tho, but didn't?? Can you remind him in the morning for me??
Thanks
Evan
I know he's got a jammed week this week with the huge Cayenne campaigns. Call me ar my office and I'll make sure he's at his desk when I transfer you. I'll be surprised if you get in this week but I'll try to help.

Weight saving by powdercoating vs. paint is negligible especially when talking about a 3400+ LB car. However Powdercoating indeed is the way to go...
