I'm going to have my rims painted black, I'm thinking of changing my wing and mirrors to CF (should go well with the black wheels).
Who makes the CF mirrors and a nice 9FF style CF wing? I also want to get a CF or original black plastic front bottom lip, the silver C4S lip is getting on my nerves. Any other suggestions for this styling route, I like the concept of a silver car with lots of black accents. I am also thinking about getting a CF hood, I need some more to think that over (big money for that hood).

What made you come over to the dark side??? Alex @ Akkurat got me the carbon fiber Rear Wing and is getting me the mirrors and I may also do the rear window spoiler in CF also. Right now it is done in black to match the car. I did the front chin spoiler on my turbo in black paint and it is the C4S spoiler. It looks great and is perfect when you slam that thing down on those black Techarts

Been thinking about for awhile and you pushed me over the edge.
How about CF side vents?? Those would hot with all the rest of the CF, I think the hood maybe overkill, have to think about the hood a little more.

Come on Sponsors hook me up with some exterior CF pieces, I'll hook you up in NYC (Strippers, easy women, clubbing, etc.)

Rave, I would do what Andreas did, - silver shade of black..not jet black. That would be a great idea. Make sure its paint, not powdercoat (Weight savings)

You could go with a Techart Front and CF Lip:

Porsche race cars always have crazy graphics on them. How come no one put graphics on their street porsches? I've been trying to think of some cool graphics to put on the car with a shrink wrap job like those advertisers on the beetles.

The silver is such a bland color there's not much one can do to it besides the usual. On top of that, the 996 body is also bland with few creases and ducts to play dress up with.

Rave, I'd advise you not to get the CF front lip. CF is a very rigid material and doesn't flex at all, one scrape and it'll most likely crack or shatter. Stick with a stock black TT lip or get another C4S lip that's unpainted.

 

Rave I like the Cargraphic front lip for the TT and C4S. It's pretty aggressive looking. Ask da' PorscheBabe to send you a picture (of the lip you randy 'ol so and so).
